Comments from Leo Berman

HB298 is similar to a Montana bill which is presently awaiting final verdict in a federal lawsuit instituted by Montana. It says that all firearms, components and ammunition manufactured in Texas for use by Texans only within the state, is not subject to the regulatory powers of the federal government because it is traded in intrastate commerce. The bulk of these weapons are for reenactment of Revolutionary and Civil War battles.

Thank you Leo Berman for this bill. You need to add an amendment to include penalties similiar to HB 297.
