Agree with Mr. Smith. Amazing that teachers' unions promote the public school monopoly and fight against any competition, but then fight this bill tooth and nail. Do they not trust the district and school boards to make wise decisions?

This is one of the more controversial bills of the session. Teacher groups are calling it unfair to teachers and students. The fact is that every school district is different and this bill gives local control to each district regarding staffing. If you're for smaller government and local accountability, VOTE YES for this bill.
