Maybe if state funding were more equally distributed amongst students in the state of Texas, there would be no need for this bill.

I feel that it is important for this bill to pass so that ALL children across our great state can have access to GREAT public schools. Parents should not be limited in their options on how best to educate their children strictly by their address. Allowing more charters opens the door for innovation and the disruption (usually deliberate or intended interruption of normal work or practice) that this state needs.
